Work with professionals

At Give Space we offer staff training. We are fortunate enough to work with so many professionals from a diverse range of fields. We use our knowledge within the mental health field and our creative approach as a way to engage staff when considering ways to share helpful tools, provide advice and guidance and offer opportunities to reflect.

Staff training

These sessions are designed bespoke to staff needs and utilise Give Space’s creative approach. Here at Give Space we recognise the importance of offering both practical tools to help professionals in their roles. Examples of staff training themes:

-
How to manage challenging emotions
-
How to best support emotional regulation
-
Psychoeducational tools that be used practically outside of the session

Staff consultation
Give Space uses their mental health training and knowledge to support frontline staff to think about the mental health and wellbeing of the community they work within.
This might include, where appropriate, attending meetings such as Team Around the Family meetings, contributing to Personal Education Plans and Educational Health Care Plans. Give Space also offer specialist tailored advice and guidance along with signposting support to staff.
Staff reflective spaces

Give Space uses their approach to provide staff teams with reflective spaces. These spaces encourage professionals to slow down and consider their own needs within the work they do. Give Space recognises the value of reflection in avoiding burn out amongst frontline workers. Give Space believes taking time to pause and think holistically about the work one does ensures a high quality of care to the communities that staff serve.
